“Refresh Your Fun-Factor!”

Hi Friends,

Welcome to the 7-Week Challenge!

It’s a quick, easy way to bring more good feelings and fun into your busy life!

Simply read through the challenge of the week and follow the suggested steps provided. If you’re anything like me, you’ll be saying “Oh, what a difference!” There is nothing to DO, only fresh ways to THINK!

It’s just too easy to become serious and almost mechanical when work and home life are hectic. Everything needs to be accomplished so quickly and the stress builds. Our ‘light and easy’ side is the first to go. Let’s bring it back!

Try the following ‘thought tips’ to refresh, or fully retrieve your fun-factor!

For this week CHOOSE to focus on the following:

1. Have fun!

  • Give yourself permission to have fun, even though you’re busy
  • Commit to ‘having fun today’, each morning when you wake up
  • Mindfully leave the old, more serious you behind, as you walk into work, or have breakfast with the family

2. Find fun!

  • All day, proactively scan for opportunities
  • See the world through a ‘fun-filter’- find the humour where you can

3. Be fun!

  • There are humour sensors in the brain and according to the HBR (Harvard Business Review) “The brain releases “feel good” neurotransmitters: dopamine, serotonin and an array of endorphins” when we’re having fun
  • Actively engage these humour sensors in your head. Flick an imaginary switch to light them up, and the world starts to look and feel quite different! ENJOY!

I’m thrilled you’re joining me for the 7-Week Challenge, to LOVE Work, LOVE Life. I hope, that when it’s completed it brings you an enhanced sense of confidence, comfort, control, and fun! This is only Week 1. We have 6 to go!
